DEDICATION
This
book is dedicated to my husband, my love and my best friend, Dr. Celsus Ukelina
Undie, fondly called Keli. He has been God's open door to me and has, indeed,
helped me in my earthly journey to find and walk through all the other open
doors God has for me.

PREFACE
In our everyday lives, we
encounter doors. What they represent
differ for different individuals as they go through this journey called life.
A door is an opening
in a wall through which someone
is meant to pass through. This is as
opposed to a window that only allows
one to look through but not
to pass through. Without the door,
the wall will serve as a barrier and the person will not be able to pass through to reach the desired destination.
Some doors are stronger than others. Some are
made of steel and others
of wood, some are manual
and others automated;
but all of them can be opened easily with the right keys or at the touch of the right
buttons. Prayer is the key that can open all
types of doors. How much and how do we pray?
Do we have answers? If not, why?
This book is specifically meant to help those who feel they have reached a door that they have no means of opening.
Jesus gave us the keys to the doors of the kingdom,
they can be applied to the doors in our lives.
He talked of binding and loosing. That is done in the place of prayer. You can only open a door
you see. May we find God's open doors, and may we find grace to go through them to fulfill
our eternal purpose, in Jesus' name, Amen.

INTRODUCTION
“… Behold I set before thee an open door, and
no man can shut it…”
(Rev. 3:8)
These were the words of Jesus Christ to the church
in Philadelphia. He continued, “for thou hast kept my word and hast not
denied my name.”
An open door is a communicating passage
between the exterior and the interior of an enclosure, room or passage. When
open, it is a point of change, most times, for the better but when closed, it
is a barrier.
Just as there are different types of physical
doors, there are also different types of spiritual doors. Some are stronger than others. The doors that
lead out of a building may be steel doors, others may be wooden or even
plywood.
Some are for protection, others for privacy,
etc. They also require different keys with which to open them.
The Lord in the above passage gives a
concrete promise to the church and to everyone who believes. He says He has
opened the door which I believe was erstwhile closed. The promises of God can
be taken literally. In my understanding of this, God has removed all barriers
and blockades from our way.
Nobody and nothing has the power to block the
door(s) the Lord has opened for us.
